Winners of the Operations and Performance Award

We are thrilled to announce that Viper Innovations have been presented with the award for Operations and Performance at the 2019 Railway Industry Innovation Awards. The awards ceremony was a celebration of companies and individulals who are helping to push the industry forward through the development of innovative ideas. The event took place in London, where we invited customers and suppliers to join the celebration.

The accolade was awarded to us for our development of CableGuardian, which offers proactive monitoring , detection and location of both insulator and conductor faults on live signalling power systems. Benefits include reducing the need for boots on ballast trackside fault-finding, reduction in maintenance costs and fast and accurate location of cable faults and cable theft.

Steve Simpson, Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager, who accepted the award on behalf of Viper Innovations Ltd said: “We are very proud to accept this award, it shows further recognition of the success of CableGuardian within the Rail Industry.
