Viper Presents at Brazilian Subsea Conference
Viper Innovations sponsored and presented at the Subsea & Drilling Brazil Conference which took place on the 30th November and 1st December in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
The biannual event is organised by three major global institutions specialising in subsea and drilling: Zoom Out Communication Group, Global Underwater Hub, and IADC Brazil Chapter. This year’s event took place in a hybrid format, both in person and online, with Viper as a silver sponsor. During the two days of the hybrid conference, which was attended by around 150 attendees both in person and remotely, industry leaders from around the world shared knowledge, strategies and studies on subsea and drilling innovation.
Industry leaders such as Oceaneering, Petrobras, Baker Hughes, Aker Solutions and OneSubsea presented on key topics including ESG, Digitalization, Robotics, Field Life Extension and Decommissioning. On day 2 of the conference, Viper’s Business Development Manager for Brazil, Diego Baraldi, presenting a live Subsea Technical Session on 'New Technologies for Life Extension'.
Diego joined the team remotely in April 2020 to strengthen Viper’s position in the South American market. Further growth of Viper’s Business Development team is underway along with plans for more local market representatives in key regions across the globe to be announced this month.
