Viper Innovations Ltd, founded in 2007 by co-owners and Directors Max Nodder and Neil Douglas; was initially set up as an Engineering Consultancy, offering design and project management services for subsea distribution equipment. Over the years the business has invested heavily in Research & Development (R&D), resulting in a strong pipeline of product and services generating revenue growth derived from the business’ own intellectual property.
Designed for Reliability (DFR).
Reliability, Availability and Maintainability are critical considerations when designing product for the harsh and complex environments across the sectors we operate in, this is particular important for the Subsea Oil and Gas and Railway sectors.

Engineering.
Viper operates with a continuous focus on innovation to help solve challenges within various industries and the Engineering department is right at the core of this. The Engineering department is a team of highly skilled and creative individuals with a broad range of expertise across various technical disciplines, including electrical, electronics, software, mechanical and systems engineering.
The main responsibilities of the department include delivery of technical solutions and other technical requirements for Viper’s commercial projects as well as to develop new ideas and solutions as part of the company’s ongoing Research and Development activities. This is achieved through in-house innovation and collaboration with other organisations with the end goal of ensuring that customer needs are met or exceeded.
Operations.
The Operations department has a broad remit that includes for supply chain, QHSE, planning, commercial, facilities, internal systems and administration functions.
Product & Service Delivery.
The Product & Service Delivery team is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of products and services which the Company is required to deliver. With the responsibility to co-ordinate across the functions within the business, to be able to ensure projects are delivered to a good standard of quality and with timely execution. This takes place from project award through to final delivery and aftermarket support.

QHSE
Accreditations and Accolades.
We are dedicated to ensuring the smooth running and continual improvement of product and service delivery and the underlying business processes. Expertise within the QHSE team includes quality control, risk assessment, and knowledge of regulations, standards and industry practices, with accredited qualifications held by team members in auditing, occupational safety and health, and environmental management.
Product quality is assured through regular monitoring and inspection. Customer quality requirements are delivered through consistent attention to detail and involvement in projects from design and development, through contract review, manufacture and testing, to end-of-project review, representing the customer perspective throughout.
In line with our commitment to quality, environment and health and safety, we maintain an integrated management system certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 27001:2022 and additionally to RISQS. To drive improvement, we operate internal audit, change management, lessons learned and root cause investigation processes, and are guided by an annual improvement plan with objectives and targets. Customer feedback, whether complimentary or critical, is always appreciated.
